Kevin Russell is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter.
He performs with a number of bay area bands, as well as producing
concerts and music events. He’s a perfect fit for our festival.
Since 1998 Stompy Jones has been thrilling Bay Area
dancers and music lovers with their jumpin’ jive.
It’s been way too long since we’ve had these guys,
so get your dancing shoes on!
2:45 -4:00 pm: Sang Matiz
Sang Matiz has been performing a collection
of original and cover songs for 7 years, fusing
energetic World and Afro-Brazilian/Peruvian
beats with contemporary rhythms
such as Pop, Jazz, and Funk. We had them at the festival
two years ago and are thrilled to have them back.
4:45 – 6:00 pm: Highway Poets
The Highway Poets have an eclectic sound that lays somewhere between
The Rolling Stones and Pearl Jam with a hint of west coast southern rock soul.
They strive to push the barriers of Pop, Folk/Country, RnB and Rock
music with fresh lyrics, soul and a unique take of a classic form.
These boys are a lot of fun and put on one heck of a show.
As a founding member of the Celtic, Tribal
band BROTHER, Angus Richardson toured
the world, recorded seventeen albums and a
DVD. Blending traditional Celtic with
contemporary rock, He’s been at our
festival previously and we look forward to
seeing his solo act.
Kevin’s band of excellent western swing and
bluegrass musicians will double up and play
a different configuration on our smaller
Those of you who attend the festival
regularly know this exceptional performer is
worth coming to the festival for all by
himself. Jack (aka Ace Miles) juggles, does
magic and ventriloquism, all the while
keeping his audience in stitches.
We had Calvin at the festival a few years ago
and were blown away by his talent as a
magician, and acrobat. He’s also hilarious!
Our local ballet school dancer’s perform
yearly and are more beautiful and graceful
every time we see them.
