Sunday Entertainment 2016

MAIN STAGE SUNDAY

11:15-12:15PM:  BOOTLEG HONEYS
Since the summer of 2013 The Bootleg Honeys have quickly become one of the Bay Area’s favorite live Americana acts. Their sweet and lively sound features impeccable three part harmony and musicianship, as well as a hefty collection of finely crafted original material that will pull your heartstrings and get your boots stompin’. December 2015 brought the release of Paint it Red, their debut full length album featuring 11 original songs, which is already receiving regular air play on Sonoma County radio and beyond.

1 – 2:30PM:  THE WAYBACKS
It has long been a dream to have this awesome band at the festival! They draw freely from the old school and the old world, but The Waybacks are no throwback. They’ve been erroneously pigeonholed as a bluegrass band and celebrated as purveyors of “acoustic mayhem.” They are as uninhibited and unpredictable as the eclectic San Francisco Bay area that claims them, and for nearly a decade, their experiments have always proven sharp-witted and musically dazzling.

3:15 – 5PM: PRIDE & JOY
Our festival is never quite complete without this band closing out Sunday. Rock out to Motown and music from the 80s and 90s as well. No one can get a crowd into such a state of joy as Pride & Joy. If you have never seen them they are worth the trip to the festival.

johannes mager

OUR MAIN STAGE EMCEE: Johannes Mager has been our festival emcee for many years. We first saw Johannes as the tuba player in the hilarious comedy/musical group: The Brass Band. Being a musician and performer for most of his life, he has also been the Music Director for many different shows and events. For the past eleven years he performed as the Jester in the Bracebridge Dinner at the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite, and for the past three years he was also the show’s Musical Director. He stepped down from the role last year and is now the new Musical Director of the Circus Center in San Francisco. He will also be teaching aspiring clowns how to incorporate music into their clowning. He always brings his own style of hilarity to our festival.

WINE STAGE SUNDAY

11-11:45AM JOHN ALLAIR
John Allair has been a veteran of the Bay Area music scene for over 50 years and it is thrilling to have him at the festival. He was a longtime member of Van Morrison’s band and has collaborated with some of the top musicians in the industry. His boogie-woogie piano and rockin vocals will get you dancing in the aisles.

ENTERTAINMENT STAGE SUNDAY

11-11:45PM MERRIE MARY
Mary Evanoff has not been at our show in many years so it is great she is back. Soft spoken, but carrying a load of laughs and antics watch her tightrope walk, juggle, and perform amazing feats.

12-12:45PM CAPTAIN JACK SPARERIBS
Those of you who are regulars to our festival know that Jack is one of our very favorite performers ever. Of course being a pirate and all, he is perfect for a seafood festival, but this talented man can juggle, do ventriloquism and magic. And he can make young and old roll in aisles with laughter.
