Frequently Asked Questions

What does the entry fee cover?

The entry fee covers your entrance to the festival and all the entertainment.
Also this festival benefits two very worthy beneficiaries (Stewards of the Coast & Redwoods and the Bodega Volunteer Fire Department).

Does the entry fee cover food or alcohol?

No, the entry ticket only covers entry into the festival. See the above question for why we charge an entry fee.

Are the tickets good for one day or both?

The tickets are good for one day only.

Are the tickets good for a specific day?

The tickets are good for either day.

How much does food cost?

The prices vary from vendor to vendor, from $8 – $20 per entree.

Can we bring dogs?

Dogs are not permitted unless they’re documented service dogs. We don’t encourage animals at the festival.

Do you offer discounts to groups?

Yes, if you are 10 or more we will give the senior rate to everyone and comp the organizer a ticket. Please email wcfestival@sonic.net to arrange for groups.

Do you take credit cards?

We take credit cards at the gate. We charge $1 service charge per ticket. The tasting, beer/wine booth and some of the food booths are cash only, so we have 2 ATMs on site as well.

Can we bring our own food and drink?

You can bring your own food and NON ALCOHOLIC drinks, however you are missing out on the best thing about this festival. Maybe bring some things but leave budget and room for buying some treats.

Do we need to bring our own seating?

No, we have haybales and tables and chairs galore.

How are the grounds for disabled folks?

This is a rural ranch, so the ground is uneven and is dirt and scruffy grass. A motorized wheelchair does fine but a push one is challenging. Walkers and crutches are not recommended. We do have handicapped parking, but there is a fair amount of walking from the lot into the site. There is seating all around, however, so plenty of places to sit and relax.

How much does it cost for beer and wine?

You can enjoy a diverse selection of wines and microbrews at our Wine and Microbrewed Beer Tasting Tent. $30 buys a commemorative glass and 6 tastes (a taste is 1/3 of a glass). Each additional taste is $3.

If you would just like a glass of beer or wine, go to our Wine/Beer Booth near the Main Stage. There you can get a plastic glass with Lagunitas, Modelo or Pacifico Beer or Mercury Wines Wine for $10. ($16 in a commemorative glass).

I thought you were in Bodega Bay? Where is Bodega and is it on the ocean?

Bodega is 4 miles south and 1 mile inland from Bodega Bay. It’s where Alfred Hitchcock filmed the majority of the movie “The Birds” (although he did film a few ocean scenes in Bodega Bay). We used to be on a ranch in Bodega Bay but the fog, wind and dust of the horse ranch was extremely challenging. So 19 years ago we moved to this gorgeous ranch, which has incredible wind protection along the west side, in the sweet village of Bodega. It is generally sunny when the coast is socked in fog, and overall is a much easier environment for the festival. The best of both worlds is to come to the festival for a few hours and then take a 5 minute drive to the coast and enjoy some time at the beach.

I have a big RV. Is there room to park it in your lot? And does it cost to park.

Yes, we have a large, dirt lot, with room for everyone. And parking is free.

Can we camp in your lot?

No, but there are campground nearby. Please see our Visitor’s Lodging Information: https://www.bodegaseafoodfestival.com/visitors/lodging/
