We know because we are a seafood and wine festival most people do not think of this is an event for children. But we always have activities for the little ones.
Kid’s entertainment: Our Entertainment Stage will have the hilarious and amazing Scotty & Trink as well as a classic Punch & Judy Puppet Show, with Brian Patterson, son of Ron & Phyllis of Renaissance Faires. See our Entertainment Pages for more information and show times.
NEWLY ADDED: We will have a charming pony rides/petting zoo company. We don’t have vast acres for riding, so it will be more for the feel of getting on a horse and going for a little walk. Great for little ones who’ve never done this.
We have a a color-in wall which is a blank screen this year, so you create the art.
~Stewards of the Coast & Redwoods have their wonderful Interactive Environmental Exhibit Van. This is educational and fun for all ages.
~ Clementine the Amazing does face-painting throughout the weekend with her crew of artisans. She also does beautiful henna art.
~The festival always has a great selection of food, both seafood and non, so generally there is something for all ages to eat, including hot dogs, burgers, fries, fried shrimp, and other kid-friendly treats like ice cream and kettlecorn.
~We also have such a wonderful collection of unique artists who do the show that oftentimes that ends up being the best entertainment for the younger set. Just seeing some of the remarkable things our craftspeople make can be inspiring and intriguing to youngsters.
